School Days
After graduating from the world-renowned High School of Music and Art in New York City, he went on to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He received further training from Lenny White, Kenwood Dennard, Jim Chapin, John Ramsay, Kim Plainfield, Ed Soph, Ed Uribe, and David Garibaldi.

Global Drumming
He has appeared on local, national, and international television broadcasts. 2003 highlights included performing on Bill Tillman's new DVD and recording television cues with producer and composer Bruce Faulconer (Dragon Ball Z, Bass Champs). He has performed throughout the United States (from Carnegie Hall to the Wild Horse Saloon), South America, Canada, Europe, and the Far East.
He has played with the Prestonwood Baptist Church Celebration Choir and
Orchestra. The 20,000 member Prestonwood Baptist Church broadcasts its
services every week (nationally and internationally) on Daystar,
Hallmark and other television and radio networks. He recently played on
the Ronnie Laws/Tom Browne/Jeane Carne summer concert tour of the U.S.,
and on the soundtrack for Bix Pix's animated film "Red Planet Blues", which was released in September 2004. Since 2004 he has been the drummer for "Unfolding Majesty " with Dean & Mary Brown,
which airs twice weekly on TBN. He appears with Joy Hill, Del Way, Kirk
Talley, Walt Mills, John Hall, Betty Jean Robinson, Nancy Harmon,
Trinity, Montrell McClendon, Dr. LaDonna Taylor and many other artists
on these broadcasts. He currently plays drums for Xenovibes.
In the Spring of 2007, John was honored with an invitation to be the staff drummer for Eagle Mountain International Church - Kenneth Copeland Ministries.

Flowing
John's goals are to continue writing and producing music for various artists while building his music production company, Fingerfoot Music Productions (ASCAP), his partnership in Goldberg Entertainment , and his work with Australian composer Shueh-li Ong on her project "Xenovibes". Future releases include new CDs by Jennifer Perryman , Doug Allen, a book he's co-writing with Bernard Wright titled "SEVEN Elements of Music", and his own CD called "Catalyst" featuring Bernard Wright and Mike McKinney.
